Welcome

PANDA’s mission is to provide Minnesota Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs with disability support, knowledge and resources to increase academic opportunities for all students.

This fully accessible website equips Minnesota teachers, volunteers, tutors, and managers to empower, educate and improve the lives of their students with disabilities.  PANDA developed and maintains this website.  In the right column of this website, there are specific disability categories written by ABE professionals and disability specialists. Most categories include an overview of the disability, identification and diagnosis, classroom challenges, instructional strategies, English Language Learner (ELL) applications, and resources.

Please note:  PANDA is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving and applying current digital accessibility standards. Please send us an email with any concerns.

Adult Basic Education teachers who have questions or learning concerns about a student can complete the Disability Helpline Form. PANDA staff will then respond with the appropriate next steps to take.
